Barberry Hill

Great spacious barn with all the amenities you need for a long stay. Quiet location but close to a civilization. Owners invited us to a a herd milking and showing us how they make and sell the raw milk

We loved the views, the relaxed feeling in the property, the breakfast basket was amazing and it was so peaceful.

A comfortable couch to watch tv or relax on would be a great addition as the two cane chairs aren’t very comfortable. Our 13 year old daughter found the cot bed uncomfortable after a couple of nights on it. Unfortunately the clear light in the roof makes a sleep in near impossible as the sun wakes you up early.

The apartment is on the first floor of a barn that sits on top of a hill. Hence the views are spectacular: Mt Taranaki, but also the surrounding hills, in good conditions even Mt Ruapehu. The appartment is huge and has a nice roof terrace. The kitchen has everything you need and comes with fresh eggs and milk. The car can be parked underneath.

Very nice breakfast basket with Milk from farm. Location is good, view and landscape are amazing. This was so cosy and calm place. Hosts were very kind and really caring toward guest needs. Accommodation was clean and fully equiped. We really felt we were home!

Very generous breakfast basket with eggs yoghurt cereals milk and many teas, very kind host. Shower strong and hot and shampoo conditioner ecologically friendly and again generous. Spectacular views of Taranaki and quiet and peaceful place.
