"A lovely countryside setting on the outskirts of Orvietto."

Agriturismo Podere Pescara is a beautiful country house on the outskirts of Orvieto. It's set in lovely gardens with different areas to sit. There is an outdoor eating area where you can eat a picnic in the evening when the restaurant is closed. There's also a small pool which must be lovely in the hotter weather. The bedroom had the character of an old house. The communal areas of the house are very nice, the breakfast room being in a conservatory overlooking the gardens. The breakfast was amazing, there was so much choice. Please be aware, as other reviews have mentioned, that this property is not easily accessible on foot. For perspective, we were walking Coast to Coast and we did walk directly to and from the house (as we did everywhere we stayed on route), but the road is busy with no pavements so it would not be comfortable for everyone to walk. Valentina was a very helpful and attentive host, Thank you for a lovely place to stay to explore Orvietto.
