Väldigt lyhört mellan rummen, det kändes som grannen stod i vårt rum och duschade.

The location is excellent — cafés, restaurants, shops, and major sights are all within easy walking distance. Alessandra, our very kind and helpful host, even arranged a secure private parking spot just 450 meters away and was always available via WhatsApp. We had two apartments: the blue one, which has a fully equipped kitchen but is a bit dark with only one window in the bedroom, and the yellow one, which is much brighter but doesn’t have a kitchen.

Both apartments have balconies facing a busy street with quite a lot of traffic, and there’s also a shisha café downstairs. For someone sensitive to noise or who likes to sleep with the windows open, it might feel a bit too loud and exhaust-heavy at night. However, this didn’t bother us — the double windows and air conditioning in the bedrooms kept everything quiet and comfortable, and we slept very well in both apartments.

Die Lage ist super, in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Catania und nur etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß in die Innenstadt. Die Umgebung wirkt sicher, auch abends, und trotz der Hauptstraße hört man bei geschlossener Balkontür kaum Lärm. Der Balkon ist zwar klein, aber wir waren froh, ihn zu haben – es passen allerdings nur zwei Stühle hin. Der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin war sehr unkompliziert und sie hat schnell geantwortet. Auch der Self-Check-in und -Check-out waren problemlos.

Es gab nur einige Kleinigkeiten, die in der Summe aufgefallen sind: kein Klopapierhalter, kein Seifenspender, WC-Tür nicht abschließbar, nur ein Spiegel im Bad (kein Ganzkörperspiegel). Außerdem wird das Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage schnell warm, mit laufender Klimaanlage lässt es sich aber gut kühl halten.

Sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet

Am Wochenende kann es unten an der Bar schon bisschen lauter werden.

I liked the fact that it was clean and pretty well equipped. Also, the location is great, it is close to Stazione Centrale, close to Piazza Duomo. Phonic isolation was also good taking into account that it's such a busy area.

Toiletries were a disappointment : we were given 1 and a half toilet roll for 5 days and a cheap soap for all uses, not even a shower gel. Also, in the bathroom there are no hangers for towels or any small shelf in the shower where to put soap or gel. We asked the owner about these but he decided to ignore us, I guess it's just business but it doesn't feel well to be treated only as income. There are 3 apartments that are interconnected. The ones who stayed next door had their lights on all night which means our bedroom was lit up as well but honestly, this is not something that the owner can control. What the owner could control though was to provide what he has promised: coffee machine. That was a massive turn off for us and when I told the owner that the coffee machine is mussing he said that our room did not have it included. I checked the reservation and properly description and it was clearly included but obviously he couldn't be bothered.
