La Castellana

The location of the apartment was really amazing, it was part of a medieval castle. It was quite close to sights in Umbria by car. The host was kind and helpful, and the flat was okay

The kitchen and the bathroom wasn't clean, and the flat was hot and airless

Absolutely everything. Our host was exceptional. I needed urgent dental treatment, and he took the time to ring around and get me an appointment. I was incredibly grateful 🙏. His communication was top-notch. And the apartment was perfect in every way. Location (at the entrance of the castle, back in medival times, it was the clock tower and used to be the post of the kings guard. The entire apartment had everything single item you require and more. I can not tell you how perfect our stay was. Easy parking, supermarket across the road. Everything close.The best part was the bed. Pure Comfort. At night, it was so quiet. The bathroom window was so cute. The doors from the bedroom out to the inside walls of the castle were awesome. The lounge chairs are comfy and have lots of information about the area. Montepulciano and Assisi a short drive away. Locals were friendly, and inside the castle walls was like a fairytale. We had a two night stay in the middle of July. We were left with good memories of the place and its manager. From the street you enter directly into the apartment, which is part of an ancient settlement complex. An additional bonus is that you have a parking space right next to the back entrance of the apartment. Sheets and towels were clean and sufficient for a family of four. The location is strategic for exploring Umbria.
