Tetebatu Trekking Homestay

Everything was amazing! The position, right in front of the rice fields, the wooden bungalow with all what is needed inside, the food, the village. Couldn’t get a better experience than the one we had. John is an amazing host, super welcoming, really kind and loves his job! He did arrange a tour for us that included rice fields, monkey forest and traditional activities for the afternoon. Really couldn’t recommend this place enough.

The location is amazing, between the lush farmland and the nature. The bungalows are clean and the beds are comfy. All next to the ricefields and some fruit plants (amazing passionfruits). John and his family will do everything to make the stay worthwhile and helped us organise the trekking and tours around the village, while also including many of the villagers to support them. And his wife is an amazing cook as well. So 100 percent recommended, especially for that price.

Excellent séjour dans ce homestay à Lombok. John est très accueillant et fait tout pour que le séjour se passe bien. Les chambres sont confortables avec une superbe vue sur les rizières, et les douches ont de l’eau chaude. Il peut aussi organiser des activités comme l’ascension du Mont Rinjani, et propose la location de scooters. Très bon petit déjeuner également. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Great location of the bungallows in the middle of rice fields, away from the road, you hear only the frogs and birds at night. Bungalowa are spacious, clean. June is a great host, can arrange anything for you. And the food was the best in Indonesia for me - June's wife is a masterchef :) try the jackfruit curry.

We are so happy we booked this accommodation. The rooms look even better than in the pictures, everything is clean , nice furniture, and a new bathroom with a hot shower. The owner is so nice and it’s so cool to talk to him and get to know more about life in tetebatu. He even invited us to have breakfast at his mothers house. But the best part of the stay: The food ! I think his wife is the best cook of Lombok. We would love to come back!

Bon rapport qualité/prix

De twee kamers die de homestay heeft, liggen perfect gelegen, midden in de sawahs. Het enige wat je hoort, is het geluid van kwakende kikkers, de stroompjes water van de sawahs en de moskeeën met de oproep tot gebed. Hoewel deze geluiden ook kunnen zorgen voor een wat minder goede nachtrust. Jhon, degene die alles bestiert, regelt van alles met veel enthousiasme. Bij hem kan je altijd terecht als je trips en trekkings in de directe omgeving wilt doen of als je in zijn warung bij de weg iets wilt eten.

Mooie schone kamer met heerlijke douche. Met Jhon en Jan een leuke trekking gedaan door de rijstvelden, waterval en apen bos. Jhon spreekt een beetje Nederlands. De Warung van hen is ontzettend goed. Echte aanrader.

Chalet en plein milieu des rizières en bon état John est super accueillant et à l'écoute On a même de l'eau chaude dans la chambre !
