The apartament îs located close to the city center, it is nicely furnished and comfortable

Although the location îs very close to the center, the street and building looks scary, we had the impression that we are in a slum. The soundproofing in the apartament was inadequate. Street noise, including cars and children shouting, was clearly audible.Additionally, construction noise from an adjacent site was persistent and disruptive.There was a garbage area directly below the windows.When the windows were opened,unpleasant odors permeated the room, and there was a concern about cockroaches pontentially entering from this area.

The street in which the apartment is located is a bit dirty and not as welcoming as some of the more popular streets. If you don’t mind, then definitely choose this apartment!

Facilities were great, although it would've been nice to be shown how to use the coffee machine which I think was broken (or I couldn't work it). This is basically a self-catering apartment suitable for the independent traveller. The hosts are conctatable by whatsapp, but if you don't have a problem you won't see them all holiday.

The location isn't very nice. Via Colonna Rotta is less salubrious than some, it's typically Sicilian in that from the outside it looks quite run down, but that's just Palermo, however the street is constantly covered in dog mess, which isn't cleaned up by the dog's owners, this is often between parked cars and in the middle of the pavement, making it a trap waiting to happen (and one I fell for in my sandals). Positionally it's a decent (10 mins) walking distance from the historic district and perhaps 15 - 20 from the shopping district so from that perspective it's ok.
