La Bomboniera

This location is an Airbnb. It is located in someone's apartment building and hidden on a busy street. The location was decent as it is right off the Capri port but not near any other major Capri attractions.

Room was very spacious and clean, had an excellent view and hosts were very helpful

Loved the location and the spectacular view of Capri and the marina below. Made transport easy once you arrived at the marina as you could easy walk your luggage to the apartment. In addition the host was extremely helpful and helped with any questions and also provides a luggage service to have your luggage taken up the stairs to the apartment on 3rd floor.

The building itself is very old but just want to stress that the apartment has been updated with everything u need so makes up for that.

When you arrive at the port, the taxis are very busy but the location is only a short few minutes walk so we were very glad. The host was absolutely exceptional. He met us even though our ferry was running late, waited for us and brought our luggages up in very hot weather. Him and his wife welcomed us to an immaculate suite with the best view. They even came to help with our luggage when we were checking out. The host was so kind to answer all my questions in a timely manner and I would recommend this place to my friends and family! Thank you so much, you are the best!

Perfect location near everything you need, the port the scooter rental and near the best restaurant De Paolino. The staff were amazing

La Bomboniera is a spacious and comfortable apartment facing Marina Grande in Capri. It has a balcony with a beautiful sunset. Close to numerous restaurants, bus stop, departure of tourist boats and the funicular that takes you to Piazzetta di Capri. The owner Mr. Pierluigi is extremely friendly and will provide you with any assistance you may need during your stay.

The stay was just perfect.

The property was really nice. It had two air conditioners so it was cool all the time. You do have to walk up to the third level for the apartment but the staff helped carry your bags up. It’s about a 20 minute walk uphill/stairs to the main centre of Capri but there are several restaurants and minimarts nearby. There are also taxis very close to the hotel if you wanted to get a taxi to the centre. There is also a public beach nearby where you don’t need to pay to use and there are also two beach clubs near by.

The only thing that could be improved is the kitchen amenities. There is a kitchen with a rice too and pots and pans but no knives or things to cook with expect for smaller cutlery. After travelling for a few months I would have like to have been able to make a home cooked meal. That was the only downside, everything else was great.

It would have been helpful to have a verbal or written description of how to work electric window shades, coffee machine, etc. as well as information on where nearest grocery was located.
