Good location, close to everything I needed. It has access to an onsen

The humidity was an unpleasant smell, and the furniture felt very old and outdated.

It's a 5 minute walk from the station. Nearby lots of food.

I messed up and got a smoking room. I aired it out most of my stay, though there was alot of gunk on the walls, in the washroom, switches I'm assuming from the smoke residue. If security is something that worries you, in the second building which I was in, you can walk from the street, go up the elevator and into the room hallways without seeing a single staff member or scanning anything to get up the elevator. On-top of that the locks are door handle locks with a key that they give you, and there are no secondary security chains or deadbolts on the door. The entrance is in an alleyway so there was a little worry in the back of my mind.

別館のPosada Suimeiには温泉風呂はありませんが、部屋には風呂はあります。温泉風呂は向いの本館・箱根水明荘の６階にあり、無料で利用できます。ホテルの場所は、箱根湯本駅から徒歩数分でとても良い場所です。チェックインも本館でします。
