Pantano House

Das Pantano Haus liegt in einen sicheren, ruhigen Straße in Catania und ist stilvoll eingerichtet mit einem tollen Mix aus Antiquitäten, modernen Möbeln und ausgesuchten sizilianischen Interieurobjekten. Die hohen Decken, der Stuck, die alten Türen, die schönen Fließen, Designerlampen und Coffee Table Books machen die Wohnung zu einem besonderen Fundstück. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war verbindlich und freundlich. Das Bett ist groß und bequem. Die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Dusche und Bad sind sauber, haben guten Wasserdruck sowie eine moderne Waschmaschine und Trockner. Das WiFi funktioniert einwandfrei.

Leider ist die Wohnung nachts tatsächlich sehr geräuschintensiv. Es gibt ein Fenster im Schlafzimmer zu einem Innenhof, das durch einen blickdichten Fensterladen geschlossen ist, durch das man dennoch viele Geräusche des Gebäudes hört. Das Brummen der äußeren Klimaanlagen sowie ein konstant laufender lauter Fernseher aus einer anderen Wohnung hielten uns wach.

Everything was perfect! The location is excellent – right in the center, but in a quieter, safer, and cleaner part of Catania. The interiors are beautifully renovated, with stylish design that still reflects the local character. The apartment is fully equipped – not just with appliances, but also thoughtful extras like beach towels, an umbrella, and beautiful photo books about Catania, Syracuse, Mount Etna, and more.

Everything was perfect for me.

The Pantano House is one of the most charming places I've ever stayed in. The apartment is very clean, well equipped and it's two-sided oriented (bedroom is in the back wich guarantees your rest). Location is perfect, close enough to the main touristic attractions and far enough from the city noise. The front terrace is above restaurant so if you don't feel like going out, you can always make your privite dinner at the terrace and enjoy your evening. The communication and arrangements for the keys pickup with the host Matteo went amazingly smoothly. I highly recommend Pantano House for solo travellers as well as for couples.
