Hotel Ottavis

Spacious and comfortable room with a good and clean bathroom. Good location near restaurants, bars and various bus stations. Pleasant and helpful reception staff.

We had to ask more than once for a second towel, even though we had booked for two people. Pillows were quite hard. Breakfast had very limited vegetarian options, and was not amazing even for a meat-eater.

The breakfast was good - eggs, bread and fruit - typical for Peru and worth $5. Good coffee. The guy on reception was very helpful, getting us a taxi. I was in such a rush I forgot to tip him - so if you go - don't forget. Wi-fi was effective. I enjoyed the view from the breakfast room. The shower was hot - sometimes a bonus in Peru. The road towards the main square has restaurants and cafes at a reasonable price serving decent food.

The room could have been bigger if I'd stayed for longer, but it wasn't a problem.
