The hotel has a central location in Mzuzu, also the food in the restaurant was of a high quality (however, quite a few selections on the menu was not available).

The hotel is quite run down and in need for upgrade. The first night was spent in a room where the air conditioning was out of order and I had a terrible sleep. Happy to be transferred to a room with a functioning aircon the next day, it is not good that guests are checked into room where such important appliances are not working. Whilst the food in the restaurant was good, the average 45 minutes wait for dinner impacted the experience negatively. Also, both the check-in and check-out process took about 20 minutes, which is at least 15 minutes too long.
