The room is clean, spacious and new. WiFi is stable and good for remote working Staff are helpful and reliable. They help me to arrange pick up service between Colombo airport and Mirissa. Sometimes the power is gone but the staff will fix it within 5 mins so not a big deal The Main Street is walking distance, just 5mins but a bit dark at night.

It was an amazing stay! The room is spacious, and all the furniture and equipment are brand new, as well as bathroom. Air conditioner is silent and fresh. The hotel is located in a quiet area; however, the beach is just a 5-min walk away. The host paid a lot of attention to details: all stuff are clean and perfect. I traveled throughout the island, and this hotel was the best, especially for price/quality ratio.

The room was well equipped and spacious! The bathroom was also pleasantly large and modern! The host was very friendly and accommodating! We can recommend this accommodation!

The bed was unfortunately noisy when turned over and the cushions were rather uncomfortable.

The room and bathroom are brand new, spacious, nicely furnished and spotless. A nice touch is the big bar of soap in the bathroom.

I was disappointed with the breakfast. It was supposed to be an English breakfast, but only had one spoonful of baked beans, two tiny sausages and a dried up fried egg. One teabag and a large pot of hot water. The fruitbowl was nicely presented. The staff was friendly but I hardly saw them during my two days stay. I had to yell out for them when we had a power failure. One of the boys did come out straight away and fixed the problem in 30 minutes.

A friendly and helpful host who assisted whenever questions or issues came up. I liked the room itself – everything is new, with high ceilings and an interesting setup where all the lights and the air conditioning are controlled via Google Nest by voice commands.

The breakfasts were not great – something that definitely needs improvement. They were completely monotonous and almost always tasteless. Either they should be removed with a price reduction or made more varied and flavorful. Some kind of noisy construction works on backyard. I would have preferred a more comfortable chair instead of a simple stool at the desk. I couldn’t fully master the voice control since each light fixture has its own name, making it hard to fine-tune the lighting the way I wanted with voice commands. As a result, I often had to rely on the wall switches to get the lighting just right. The location of the guesthouse, though, is more a reflection of the apartment’s price – I chose something not too expensive, so the location isn’t ideal. The apartment building is still under construction, so looking at where you’re staying doesn’t bring much joy. But I think once the construction is complete, they’ll start decorating the building, and it will look much more appealing.

we loved how quiet it was - only 5 minutes down the lane to turtle beach . the host was lovely. the room is new, clean, spacious and quiet . there’s is kettle and bar fridge and towels supplied. the breakfast was delicious - fruit every day- hoppas one day and roti egg the next serve with tea. there were monkeys and fireflies as a bonus!

Very stylish and clean modern hotel homestay in Mirissa. 5 mins walk to beach. Great hot shower, immaculately clean room, fabulous smart lighting, comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Hosts were really lovely and it has a terrace outside room to have a coffee, it has tea and coffee facilities in room too. Best homestay in Mirissa and best value hotel.
