Not enough nice wine glasses and nibble dishes. No Gladwrap ,tinfoil and paper towels

"Cosy house for winter family getaway"

Very cosy with electric blankets on the beds. Big tv with Sky. Great to have a washing machine and dryer.

I think the oven thermostat may be broken, or possibly just quite an old oven - didn't cook at a high enough heat at all. The appliances in general were quite dated and didn't work very well. The house is completely adequate, but just the bare minimums - no cooking oil, no rubbish bags, no kitchen spray/cleaner etc. Also - one of the stand-alone bar heaters didn't work at all - so only one portable heater in the house.

The property was good sized. Allowed pets but no fencing. Close to amenities as we had a car. House was warm during the day but freezing at night.

- fire place only had wood no kindle or samba so bit pointless unless you buy your own samba. - No heatpump. Oil heaters but they barely heat up anything. - back yard isnt fenced. Only an issue if you taking pets. - toilet left with fecal matter - no aircon. Would be an issue in summer. - only salt n pepper so if you staying long take your own spices. - dirty linen and curtains. Place needs to be updated

Property is close to all you need, not far from the shops and pools. decent sized rooms with all you need in the kitchen. Fire heats the house pretty well. Was super clean. Had a great stay.

It’s so open! No fencing for privacy and some fence panels have fallen down, also only a fire for real heat. Needs a heat pump maybe as the wall heater in the lounge doesn’t do too much.

"comfy and cosy"

Comfy place to stay, conveniently located and easy enough to walk into town (for those who aren't lazy). The house retains the afternoon sun which is good in cooler climates (maybe not so in summer). Overall we were happy with the place.

Basic cooking items like salt, pepper, oil not available. The oven didn't seem to work but reported it to staff upon departure. No air con, so be mindful when booking in summer. The main bed definitely needs to be replaced as it's quite worn. Apart from these little things not too bad considering.
