Mazzarò Boutique Apartment

Location to beach, cable car and amenities was good. View was wonderful. Large, spacious deck overlooking the bay. Washing machine was a bonus. Kitchenette had all that you needed. There were several mini markets very close by and some lovely restaurants overlooking Isola Bella which were wonderful. Sara the owner was extremely prompt in attending to anything we needed.

Everything was great. Very happy. *A point to note though was that there was an extra charge for linen over and above the city taxes when we arrived. This is not normally the case with bookings made on Booking.com. Just something to keep in mind when making your booking. Still a wonderful stay.

Amazing view from the huge terrace. The apartment was perfectly clean. Everything is new. The location can't be better - between 2 beaches and steps from the cable car to the center of Taormina. Good communication with the hosts who met us in person upon arrival. We had a great stay. Thank you!

The location was excellent. Sara, the host's recommendations for restaurants and places to visit were great. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable and we would certainly stay again. We highly recommend Mazzaro Boutique apartment.

A large terrace with a fabulous view over the Villa Sant Andrea and the bay of Mazzaro. The terrace faces due East, so you get the morning sun. By midday it is in shade; a bonus in the summer months. Conveniently positioned close to the cable car up to Taormina (not working while we were there, but replacement bus service). Nearby there are two beaches and a number of good restaurants. The apartment is clean, comfortable and recently built, our host, Sara, was helpful, friendly, welcoming and informative. Her recommendations on restaurants etc were excellent.

Cons: Bedroom has no window A/C is outside the bedroom, so you must keep the bedroom door open to be cool. Because of that, you’ll wake with the sunrise if you’re a light sensitive sleeper. Construction noise from next door (in September 2024)

A well appointed apartment with lovely view of the beach. Easily access to the the beaches - just a short 10 min walk to Isola Bella. Small supermarkets downstairs for essential items and a close walk to the gondola up to Taormina. Christine the host was amazing! Oh and the lift for suitcases was a big plus!

Elevators are a little slow so it's quite a lot of stairs when you're coming and going
