Villa Salento con piscina

The location is near Lecce, 10min from the city's old town by car. Is very quiet and calm and you can enjoy your peaceful evenings by the pool. You have a permanent buddy to stay with and that is Leo, the dog. The host ,Gregorio, made us fell like home, he gave us tips for best beaches and restaurants. I cannot recommend this enough. Will come back !

Clean room

Big disappointment - the villa does not look like the photos at all - the environment is poor, the pool is dirty, there is no such lighting. The bed is very uncomfortable - moves, squeaks, too big pillows. There is one cup of coffee in the room, no coffee was served for breakfast.

Het zwembad, de kamer en badkamer, hele mooie vrije locatie. Wat wij extra vroegen werd er gedaan. Host wilde ons zelfs nog komen ophalen op Brindisi, toen er iets met onze huurauto was. Vertrekdag heeft host ons naar busstation gebracht,erg aardig.

Douche was vaak koud,wifi werkte eerste 3 dagen niet. Het was handig geweest als er wat huisregels waren beschreven. Ontbijt echt Italiaans,hadden we wat uitgebreider verwacht. Locatie is niet op loopafstand naar Lecce, terwijl dat wel op de site staat. Moet duidelijk op site staan dat je een auto moet hebben en meer dan 2,3 km naar centrum Lecce is.

Tout Le calme du lieu, l'accueil du propriétaire, la qualité des installations, la proximité de Lecce, la piscine, le parking. Greg est une personne serviable et acceiuillante, toujours à l écoute et toujours prête à donner de bons conseils. Sur que nous reviendrons. En Bref, une pépite.

N'y être resté que 3 nuits... La formule " bon pour un petit dejeuner " à prendre dans un café proche, nous a permis de connaître la vraie vie des italiens le matin à l heure du petit-déjeuner. La aussi une belle decouverte

It is a lovely villa in the middle of nowhere but also close to Lecce (by car ;))- perfect to unwind and relax :) but also a perfect central location to see the rest of Salento :) The host is very friendly, the pool is clean and lovely! The bed is comfy and the bathroom big :) there is a sweet, big dog on the estate who is very friendly and likes to play, but panics when you swim in a pool :D All in all we definitely recommend Villa Salento! :) Just few things you must know - the breakfast is in a form of a voucher in a local cafe - 4km route, 8min by car, which we didn't see in the description, but it was all good, given that the sweet pastries from this bar are simply delicious! :) And the most important thing! The rewievs say that VIlla is just outside Lecce, but this is only true if you have a car :D The pin on the map (both in Booking and Google Maps) is incorrect - in reality it is 3km further from the city, which is totally fine but you definitely MUST have a car to get there. We didn't have a car for our first evening there as there were no vehicles available and we still decided to book this place as we saw that the initial localisation was only 8mins from the bus stop. Unfortunately it wasn't :D But the host is a lovely person, he came for us and on the next day he gave us a lift to car rental place so we wouldn't pay for a taxi :) so it was all good and we would definitely like to come back one day :) Thank you!
