The stairs, but to be expected

Apartament znajduje się na 4 piętrze budynku bez windy, więc nie będzie odpowiedni dla wszystkich. Przy podłączaniu niektórych elementów do prądu wyrzuca korki.

The apartment is in a great location and everything was as described. Even when busy outside in the evening, the rooms were well soundproofed. The sofa bed was comfortable and there was enough privacy blinds to comfortably sleep in the living area. The aircon in the living room and bedroom was a welcome addition. We also loved the cheese and wine bar next door - it has a cute upstairs terrace and they do a delicious tasting board!

We had contacted the hosts via Booking.com to request early check-in a week or two prior, but did not get a response. We managed to find a bag storage place to leave them whilst we waited for the check-in time. I hadn't mentioned (or been asked) about the need for the sofa bed to be made up, and it felt like we had been an inconvenience when I messaged to ask after we arrived (there was no additional bedding in the apartment). That being said, they dropped off fresh sheets that evening and we made up the additional bed ourselves.

Centre of Taormina so easy to walk, the host was very helpful and answered any questions

There are a lot of stairs up to the property however after a few times you get used to it so it’s really not that big a deal, just something to be noted

The interior is beautiful and tasteful, with an elegant touch—perhaps reflecting the owner’s fondness for Asian-inspired decor. Both the owner and the driver were friendly and helpful, and communication was smooth throughout. The location is perfect for those who prioritize easy access to the city center rather than the beach. For those who enjoy cooking, the well-equipped kitchen and quality utensils will be a definite plus. All the basic kitchen items were provided, except for a mortar and pestle. The knife felt a bit small from a Japanese perspective, but I suppose it’s standard for Italians, who typically don’t use cutting boards.

One of the few drawbacks was the fragile power supply. Running the washing machine during certain times of day could occasionally cause a power outage. That said, it worked fine when used at the right time. Other amenities like the TV and Wi-Fi functioned without any issues. Also, since the apartment is on the third floor with no elevator, it might be a bit challenging for those with heavy luggage or for women traveling alone to carry suitcases up the stairs.

Beautifully renovated 4th floor walk up with well lit stairs and comfortable handrails. Stunning view of Taormina beach area from enclosed porch area. Very well equipped apartment in all respects and spacious. Comfortable +.

The electrical system, although with a very recent circuit breaker box was overly sensitive to normal light-modest loads, tripping the main breaker without good reason (even when following the host’s instructions). I have confidence the owner will rectify the issue as everything else was new/functioning properly.

Gorgeous little apartment with everything you need. Perfectly located, easy walk to connecting bus stops and right in the centre of town. Fantastic view from the kitchen/living room windows.

Attentive and helpful host made the check-in and check-out process easy. Breathtaking view from the apartment(slightly blocked by the construction site but didn’t bother us too much) Clean and spacious place with zen interior design. Everything is as clean and neat as shown in the pictures. Fully equipped kitchen(even with dishwasher!) perfect for those who want to enjoy food and wine(or coffee) with lovely view of the coastline. Location being on the edge of centric area made it perfect to explore the town while being not too hectic in front of the house. Less than a couple minutes walk to a small bottega with great sandwiches, lovely taverna, charming park and the world-famous Bam Bar.

Being on the fourth floor without an elevator could be challenging to some people. However the host was helpful with our luggage, and considering the view, seemed like a legit tradeoff.
