The kitchen was well equipped, including a coffee maker, and the air fryer was a welcome bonus. The property felt safe and secure, with a sliding gate operated by remote control. We chose this accommodation because we were attending a family wedding in the area, and the location was convenient—close enough to both the beach and our relatives.

No safety deposit box. Owner demanded tourist tax although I explained I was a permanent resident in Mauritius 🇲🇺. The property is not suitable for guests with disabilities. My parents (85/80 years old) found the stairs to the bedrooms very difficult to use, as they are narrow and spiral in an old-fashioned design. I could not take the suitcase upstairs. Shower is also outdated and in need of modernisation, and the shower area appeared unclean and very dated. Additionally, the air-conditioning remote control in one of the bedrooms was not working. Overall, the cost of the villa did not reflect the condition of the property or match the standard shown in the advertised photos. Having said that for small houses it was fine. I do genuinely believe that on the advertisement the owner should pre-warn people regarding the stairs leading to the bedrooms and also no safety deposit box.
