Shanith Guesthouse Negombo , beach road

Relatively close to the international Colombo airport. The hotel will drive you there in their van for 1,500 - muck better than the 1,000 tuk tuk ride. The key to the room did not work well, and the ac was either under-powered, or the room was way too hot at the start. The room had an apartment size refrigerator - not turned on.

Приехали в Негомбо после путешествия по югу Шри Ланки. Добирались на электричке из Коломбо. От станции шли 7-8 минут. Нам очень понравился отель. Чисто, уютно. Очень доброжелательный персонал.Очень вкусный завтрак. До пляжа несколько минут пешком.Ходили купаться рано утром. Океан более спокойный.

I came back to Shanith Guesthouse for the end of my stay and it's definitely the nicest place I stayed in Sri Lanka. Very friendly ladies who make the breakfast in the morning, nice seating area on the balcony outside the rooms, fridge in the rooms which is nice if you want to cool water etc. The location is good, minutes away from the beach but also away from the noise of Lewis Place so it's quiet. I highly recommend this guesthouse

Yövyimme yhden yön tässä hotellissa ennen kotimatkaa. Sijainti oli hyvä, paikka rauhallinen ja ranta kävelymatkan päässä. Mutta jatkuvat sähkökatkokset hankaloittivat elämää (hotellilla ei siis ole omaa generaattoria/varavoimalähdettä).

Really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are great with fridge, kettle, kitchen area, air conditioning, and there's a great balcony area outside the room with chairs to relax. The owner seems like a really nice guy and the other staff all seemed friendly. A very comfortable stay, I will be back.

Rolig og fint. Me var desverre sjuke heile oppholdet, så åt ikkje frukost. Hyggelig familie. 1500rupi frå flyplassen.

Anlände sent från flygplatsen i colombo och blev väl bemött av killen som jobbade där. Lämnade sedan på förmiddagen efter en schysst frukost. Rummet var rymligt och rent. Badrummet var helt ok, lite dålig skjuts i duschstrålen bara men annars inga problem. Funkade perfekt för mig och damen.

Prima plaats om te verblijven, dichtbij strand en restaurants. Keurige nette schone kamers en vriendelijk/behulpzaam personeel.

Hard to find. Nice atmosphere in the hotel.
