Haven Manor

We spent 3 nights at this beautiful and relaxing accommodation in noordhoek and had a great time. The apartment was very clean, with a high standard and nice details. Oliver was a perfect host. They breed cats there, who can roam free in the common area and garden, and although I'm allergic to cats, with this breed it really was no problem at all for me. I even enjoyed caressing them in the garden. But there are fences all around. So if you hate cats, don't be afraid they can not get to your apartment

(The kitchenette is very small. But we didn't need it, except for the refrigerator.)

The room we stayed in was horse themed. Every item seemed carefully thought out with lots of unexpected extras such as smeg appliances, beverages in the fridge, candles by the bath and rusks. The most interesting surprise was the Cat Cafe downstairs. I am more of a dog lover than a cat lover, but I still really loved having a morning coffee with all the beautiful cats. They climbed on my lap and walked all over my keyboard while I was trying to catch up with my emails. It was absolutely heavenly and I'll definitely stay there again. Please note the cats are totally separate and will not bother you unless you want to go visit them.

The family stayed in both rooms, which were very comfortable. The units have everything you need and more. The Nespresso and plunger are fantastic for coffee lovers, and the good-quality toaster, microwave, and air fryer make it easy to cook something quickly. Great location to explore Cape Town and bypass the N1 & N2 traffic. The kids had lots of fun playing with the cats. Cape Point Winery is very close as well, with lovely views over Noorhoek Beach.

The accommodation is very smart with a lovely big bathroom with shower and large bath. There is a desk to work at, excellent WiFi and a very comfortable large bed. The property is very quiet and there is parking right outside the door. There is a fridge, airfryer and microwave for use by guests. There were also rusks to go with the Nespresso coffee.

I definitely recommend this place, but if you don’t like cats or have allergies, maybe skip it

The hosts Oliver and Cherylee were very friendly and helpful and the accommodation was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The views from the bedroom window were exceptionally overlooking Noordhoek and the coast.Very impressed by the cat cafe and garden below our accommodation the cats and ducks provided us with constant entertainment and we were welcome to sit with them and enjoy the garden.

There is no tv but fortunately we did have an lpad to supply us with our evening entertainment.

If we must think of something; We missed an outdoor space connected to the room. Lounge chairs are in the garden at cat’s caffe, which isn’t private.

We stayed in the spitfire airplane apartment which was very spacious and clean. The view from the room is spectacular. The place is easily accessible to the Noordhoek village restaurants and activities and the hosts were lovely.

The room was very well equipped but there’s no tv. The gardens are beautifully kept but it is a cattery and they roam around so not good if you are not keen on cats.

Exceptional, what can I say but thank you to our hosts for all the hard work that must have gone in to make this place special. Extremely comfortable beds and beautiful views. Highly recommend.
