Dar Chennoufi

Tunesisch okay Lage: sehr schlechter Weg bis zur Unterkunft - bei Regen ist alles schlammig und man kann seine Schuhe und Hose wegwerfen

Wir haben ein Zimmer im Dar Chennoufi für eine Woche gebucht und im Voraus bezahlt. Leider mussten wir unseren Aufenthalt bereits nach einer Nacht abbrechen. Wir sind nachts angekommen, haben eine Nacht dort geschlafen und am nächsten Morgen gefrühstückt. Ein längerer Aufenthalt war für uns jedoch nicht zumutbar. Die Gründe: Die Matratze war extrem hart und sehr unbequem. Die Badewanne war schmutzig, sodass wir nicht duschen wollten. Die Toilettenspülung war defekt – wir mussten mit einem Eimer Wasser nachspülen. Das Bettlicht funktionierte nicht. Für den Preis und eine gebuchte Woche hätten wir einen deutlich besseren Zustand erwartet. Aus unserer Sicht besteht hier dringender Verbesserungsbedarf, den wir auch mitgeteilt haben.

La demeure est très belle et authentique, elle est meublée avec raffinement et son agencement intérieur a su préservé le caractère et le charme des anciennes maisons du Kef. Elle est située au milieu des champs d'oliviers et son jardin embaume le jasmin. La production d'eau chaude par panneaux solaires et la production d'électricité par panneaux photovoltaïques ont été appréciées.

Le rapport qualité/prix est moyen pour la région du Kef même si l'on peut comprendre l'entretien d'une telle demeure a un coût certain. Cependant, une baisse a minima de 15 euros par nuitée serait appréciée et améliorerait sensiblement le rapport qualité/prix

The staff were very helpful and friendly, making me feel at home. I had beautiful cooked meals by the fire. Breakfast and dinner were great. It’s a calm location out in some farmland. It was a fun experience to stay in a guesthouse away from the tourist beat.

The pool is no longer operable and looks nothing like the photos. The accom was a bit more expensive relative to what I paid elsewhere in Tunisia.

Not much. It was very quiet. The owner offered to make a simple meal for us as everything in town was closed due to Eid holidays. Food was mediocre as was the breakfast the next morning.

Room AC did not work. Had to convince owner to change room. Absentee owner and manager. The local staff could not communicate. The place was not clean. The pool was closed. The owner only communicated via WhatsApp and would not accept credit cards. The Dar is about 5 miles from El Kef.

Breakfast as well as dinner was exeptional. The location is a wonderful traditional house surrounded by olive trees. We enjoyed our stay very much!
