The Location is good, the beach is amazing and The breakfast was good

Completely OVERPRICED for what it is, the place is literally falling down. You can tell once it was a beatiful place but now looks more like a ruin. I was afraid of walking in the room (upper part) because it felt like it was going to crash. For what it is it should cost 500 rupies.

Loved everything abt our stay(4days) at Emerald Gecko. Couldn't have asked for a better place in Havelock with this kind of serendipity, quietness, nature all around n the beautiful beach access at 20 mtrs. This place is a paradise with basic amenities that suffices our requirements of being in nature and away from humdrums. Seems more like a backpackers dream place. There is absolutely no material luxury here but has abundance of extravagant immersion of oneself with nature. This was our second stay in Gecko and would definitely come here only again.

People with high expectations of material luxury and hospitality might not enjoy this place. Anish should also post the pic of do's and don'ts card of Emerald Gecko here so that ppl are aware of how peculiar this place is.

Private beach area and breakfast.

Horrible experience of my life Not at recommended to anybody. It was not of forest theme but room was forest itself. There were lizards, rats, insects etc in room. Rat cut my bags. Dogs were coming very close even while having breakfast. There is no privacy in room, sounds of talks coming of people around.

The location was amazing.

First line to the ocean! It feels like being IN nature, still clean&comfortable

Perfect jungle homes made out of bamboo. Gives you the perfect island feeling

Lack of cleanliness. I had to sanitize everything before using it
