Alhambra Ryad & Spa

Clean, very friendly & helpful staff. This hotel is not accessible by car. The staff waited at the agreed location to direct our hired car to the parking located near a cemetery but safe and spacious, helped with our luggage down the steps of the hill to the Riad. The other two parking in town were small, and tight - one needing the surrender of the car keys to them! Good recommendation of a nearby reasonably priced Restaurant Bab Ssour on a roof terrace. Accompanied by the same gentleman uphill at the Riad to pick up the car. Drove to the main square, and had the luggage take downhill to us by another hotel staff. I left him MAD10 and another MAD50to be passed to the first gentleman who helped when we first got there, and late accompanied us to collect the car on our departure. Great breakfast terrace on the roof - both view and the food.

Nothing not to like here, although a simple map showing the location of the riad (it's a maze but Goggle walking map works) and places of interest will not go a miss. We were told this is in the works at the time.

We genoten van de prachtige locatie; het mooie dakterras met het geweldige uitzicht; het uitgebreide, verse ontbijt; het vriendelijke personeel. Riad Alhambra ligt middenin de medina, vanaf de parkeerplaats een klein stukje lopen. Van tevoren kregen we duidelijke instructies waar we onze auto veilig konden parkeren.

No tenemos palabras suficientes para agradecer a todo el equipo del Riad Alhambra por hacer del cumpleaños de mi pareja, Rebeca, algo mágico. Fuimos a Chefchaouen para celebrar este día tan especial y ellos se encargaron de que fuera perfecto, superando cualquier expectativa. ​Desde el primer momento, la comunicación fue excelente. Les pedimos ayuda para organizar una sorpresa y el resultado fue increíble: nos prepararon una tarta de cumpleaños preciosa y deliciosa, y decoraron nuestra habitación con globos y pétalos de rosa con un gusto exquisito, ¡un detalle por su propia iniciativa que nos conmovió muchísimo! Ver la cara de felicidad de Rebeca fue el mejor regalo. ​El Riad en sí es una joya en pleno corazón de la Medina. Nuestra habitación no solo estaba decorada con cariño para la ocasión, sino que era comodísima, superlimpia y muy acogedora. Y qué decir de los desayunos... abundantes, tradicionales y deliciosos, servidos en una terraza con unas vistas espectaculares de la ciudad azul y las montañas. ​Pero lo mejor de todo es el factor humano. El personal es encantador, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar con una sonrisa. Se nota que aman lo que hacen y cuidan cada detalle para que te sientas como en casa (¡o mejor!). Se portaron de maravilla con nosotros, ¡incluso nos dieron conversación y nos informaron de cada lugar por el camino! ​Si buscas un lugar especial en Chefchaouen, ya sea para una celebración como la nuestra o simplemente para disfrutar de la ciudad con total comodidad y autenticidad, el Riad Alhambra es, sin duda, la mejor elección. ¡Mil gracias por formar parte de este recuerdo tan bonito! ¡Volveremos seguro!

Large comfortable room with great beds. Good breakfast and great location

Lovely rooms. Beautiful views from the terrace. The staff was incredibly helpful especially with getting the luggage to and from the property which involves many stairs. Staff was friendly and helpful in every way.

The property is near the top of the hill which involves many stairs in getting there. Fortunately there was help with luggage. Would love washcloths provided.

Le très bon emplacement, la propreté et la réactivité de l'équipe à notre arrivée. riad tout neuf, très joliment décoré Le service pour le dîner et le petit déjeuner a été efficace et sans faute et bénéficie d'une vue panoramique. De plus, linge donné samedi soir et récupéré dimanche matin! top
