The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and even recommended some great local restaurants, which we truly appreciated. While the property has potential, unfortunately, it didn't fully meet our expectations which make it difficult for me to rate it higher to be fair.

Even though the property is within walking distance from the main restaurant and bar street, it feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. The road leading to it is unpaved, and when it rains heavily (which happens a lot in Siargao), it becomes very hard to access. The property itself is far from new, in fact, it’s quite outdated. We were also surprised to find a building under construction in the garden, which was not reflected in the photos online and gave the place a very different atmosphere than we expected. The space we stayed in was old, had a strong moldy smell, the bed was as hard as sleeping on the floor and the only bedroom window faced directly onto the building under construction. Additionally, someone entered our room while we were away, which, although likely well-intentioned, was a concerning breach of privacy. I believe the property has potential, but it needs significant improvements.

Joanna is very responsive and communicative host. Even though I didn’t ask you’ll have room cleaning every day 🙌 Quiet and affordable place. Good for those who want separate space. Guests are also good!

Nice accomodation at a good location central in general Luna. Definitely recommend staying here!

Cute family business that is a work in progress, bungalows are functional aka local experience. Main thing to note, is that despite the location the access road is like driving to a farm in a province and only possible on a moped due to giant puddles, the alternate access path on foot is like navigating a jungle, torch would be needed at night, wifi can be slow.
