Casetta Alice

The location was great. Very big, comfortable and beautiful apartment. Andrea the host has been always very friendly.

One of the rooms face a very buys street so if you wanna sleep with the windows opened could be a bit tricky, but there's always air conditioning in the room.

The apartment was as shown in the pictures - very spacious and clean. The air conditioners in each of the three rooms performed brilliantly and the kitchen was well-equipped. The apartment also has a washing machine in the unit, so our family of seven were able to do a few loads of laundry during our stay. The location is also fantastic. Andrea helped us find free parking right at the apartment, and thereafter, we never actually used the car again during our stay as you can easily walk to and through the old historic Centre (we did this with three kids 10 years and under, so it wasn't a far walk at all). Also, Andrea was very accommodating and gracious. Our 4 year old actually broke a small side table lamp in the apartment, and when we attempted to give him some money for the damage, he wouldn't accept. Overall, our stay at Cassetta Alice was a great part of our travels through Sicily - would definitely stay there again.

The street noise coupled with the old windows bothered our kids a bit; however, as we were leaving, Andrea and his contractor were arriving to replace all of windows as a part of a planned maintenance. I suspect that future visitors will appreciate this upgrade.
