Tivitti House

Everything about this accommodation is perfect. This amazing apartment is designed with so much good taste…really impressive. So modern, so clean, so comfortable…so adorable. We fell in love with it. We have big respect for the owners for the way they designed this little “home for rent”. They paid so much attention to every detail. Those details that really make the difference. We would have loved to stay longer… If you book this accommodation you get more than you expect. So GO FOR IT !

Everything was perfect. The owner was very kind and helpful, the house was very nice and extremely clean and the location was perfect. We also loved the bath inside the main room.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tivitti House and it was truly an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. One thing that stood out was their exceptional hospitality. They were kind and attentive, always readily available to assist with any queries or requests we had. The hosts truly made us feel amazing, going the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable. During our visit, there was a water problem in Catania, but the hosts quickly took action to rectify the situation. They filled up the water tank so that our comfort was not compromised. It's these small gestures that reflected their commitment to ensuring a high level of comfort for their guests. In addition, we experienced an unexpected flight delay, which resulted in us needing to stay two additional nights. The hosts, without any hesitation, graciously allowed us to stay free of charge during this period. This act of kindness truly impressed us and further reinforced the amazing hospitality we experienced at Tivitti House. The accommodation itself was also exceptional. The house was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment for our stay. The amenities provided were of high quality, ensuring that all our needs were met. Located in a convenient area, Tivitti House offered easy access to various attractions and amenities. The hosts were also knowledgeable about the local area and provided great recommendations on places to visit and dine. Overall, our stay at Tivitti House exceeded all expectations. The hosts' kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond truly made our experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Catania and looking for an exceptional place to stay.

What a wonderful stay we had at Chiara and Michele’s house. It’s so beautifully decorated and so nice and clean and everything is new! It was very well equipped too. It was perfect for our quick stay in Catania and the hosts were so lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Clean, easy to find. Quick communication and allowed an early checkin, although some confusion around documents for check in. Two large bedrooms with air conditioning. Easy self check in code. About 7 min walk to the main square

The stairs from the entry up to the bedrooms. Very tricky especially with luggage. Must bend down or you will hit your head. One small bathroom downstairs. Small entry, kitchen area with no lounge chairs. We were traveling for 27 hrs from NZ, was jetlagged and missed the communication about check in documents and when we didn't provide it on time, was told we would incur a fee. Thankfully we were able to get said docs... but not a nice threat.

The property looks exactly like in the photos, newly renovated and nicely furnished. It is a two-story converted, with kitchen and bathroom downstairs, bedrooms upstairs, with the stylish brown stairs visible in the kitchen leading up to the upper floor. As the steps don’t have rails, it might not be suitable for very small kids or people with mobility issues, but otherwise it was totally fine. The furnishing is brand new at the time of this review and the working bathtub in the bedroom is a great fancy element. Location is a small and quiet back alley halfway between the main sights and the train/bus stations, all of which are just a short walk away. I would also like to mention the great hosts, Fabiana and Chiara went out of their way to make the stay feel comfortable. Thank you very much!

The wi-fi was at times spotty in the bedroom due to the thick walls, but they are working on it. It worked well in the kitchen though. The other thing, which was not a negative but worth mentioning is that the place is converted from some sort of arched workshop/storage space, so the ceiling upstairs is not very high and the windows are quite small, as seen in the photos. Didn’t find this disturbing though, and this probably also helped to keep the temperature inside well regulated.
