Villa Bilimbi

Villa Bilimbi has everything we expected, great natural light in all the rooms and livingroom, full equipped kitchen with oven, microwave and blender. Really comfortable house, we had an amazing time there. Is a perfect house to share with friends, plenty of space for everyone, the rooms have private bathrooms and ac, with big beds and the shared spaces are very spacious. The neighborhood is quiet, and the garden is beautiful!! The house is located in a perfect spot with easy access to Ahangama town and surf spots. Niluka is an amazing host, she's always helpful and very kind.

I spent over a week at Villa Bilimbi and it was a great experience. Amazing standards compared to what I have seen in most places in Sri Lanka. Clean, big rooms, great toilets with hot shower and great pressure. It is a villa with 3 rooms and it is great to have access to a kitchen to cook and a fridge to storage things in the cold. There is also a pleasant patio and a washing machine that can be used at no extra cost. I was working remotely and the wi-fi was pretty decent for Sri Lanka. The host was great and helpful and super flexible with check in check out times. Would def recommend

This was not much of a downturn for me as I had a scooter but without a scooter the location is a bit hard to move around. The best beaches to swim (Kabalana or Midigama) are still a bit far and even for surfing you are 15-20 walking from Marshmallow. I loved the location as it was quite and beautiful surroundings but advisable to have a mean of transport.

This was the best Homestay in my 5-week Sri Lanka trip. The property is very clean, there is AC in the rooms and it is very spacious. The host is super nice and my friend and I were welcomed and hosted as if we were family. Super super nice! Really recommend staying here. It is a 10 minute walk from the busy main road (or you could get a scooter, but we walked and felt super safe even at night). Also, you can wash your clothes for free as there is a washing machine at the property (which is a plus if you‘re backpacking).

A fantastic experience! The owner was incredibly kind, breakfast was delicious, the place was really clean, and the air conditioning was excellent. The rooms were beautiful, and the villa was new and up to European standards. Highly recommend it! The best accommodation in Sri Lanka!! :)

Absolutely no complaints here, everything was perfect and thoroughly enjoyable

The place is brand new, very nice and clean. The staff is super nice and helpful! There is a room in the main house and a room with an extra entrance (quite big!). I believe you can also rent the whole house which should be great for groups. The price is unbeatable for the size of the room I had and considering that it is brand-new.

I was expecting something a bit more private and didn't realize I only rented a room. It felt a bit more like a homestay with the owner and other people (during the day) staying there as well. This is the reason why I didn't give it a 10. I had paid for breakfast but didn't realize this until day 3. Would have been nice if I would have been offered.
