PYRAMID LODGE

What I liked most about the property was their caretaker, Kazim. He was incredibly hardworking and flexible, always on the move. The décor was modern and tasteful.

What I didn’t like was that hot water was only available twice a day, and even then, just for an hour each time. There’s a main lounge outside the room with a dining table and TV. Since it’s a common area, all guests tend to gather there and talk loudly. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything — and they can hear you.

Excellent, Clean, Comfortable place to stay in skardu.

Everything was amazing. The room is nice and clean and spacious, it gets a bit cold out of season but you can always ask for extra blankets! The location is good, a 5-10min walk to the centre where there are many restaurants/cafes and shops. The owner Hussain took such good care of us, he helped with every single request we had and gave us great advice and recommendations. He arranged a driver for us and helped plan our day activities and our route even after we left the hotel. His English is perfect, he is very knowledgable about the area and is really interesting to chat to. We originally booked for 2 nights but loved Skardu and Pyramid Lodge so much that we ended up staying for 9 days!

Occasionally no hot water and room was cold but this was a result of us staying out of season when the weather was cold.

A table/desk would be nice and useful. A bit noisy

The owner Hosayn is extremely helpful and full of great advice for a fantastic trip as per your needs. He helped arrange our competent and excellent driver Qayum for the entire duration of our trip and even when our flight was delayed another day, was quick to help with an another driver and room. We felt in great hands all the time. The room itself was big and comfortable for us 4 and the hotel location being very central with good food options within walking distance.
