The location is good and suited the tranquility I desired.

The operation of the main gate can be automated. They should also consider providing sugar, tea and coffee sachets as part of room supplies.

We dearly loved the location. We had Onias take us hiking. It was expic. We enjoyed the trail, the environment, tranquility, and everything about the place reached our expectations as a group of 13. We wouldn't mind going back again for another visit.

One of the 2 apartments we booked, the toilet seems to be blocking when flushing and also we didn't know there will be that much distance from the family house to the other 2 outside apartments, which we had to drive down to sleep every night and morning.

It's very private and rustic and a good location for overnighting on your way to Mbombela/Mozambique. Good amenities with some things missing but we pointed that out to the owner.

We expected it to be cold this time of year but it was an extremely cold night and although the quaint fireplace in the cabin was effective and there were extra blankets, we slept very cold. Electric blankets will help a lot, maybe even some type of heater in the rooms. We struggled to get the right temperature for the shower in the morning so had to wait a long time for the bath tub to fill up enough to have a warm enough bath in the extreme cold.

It was such a lovely tranquil place the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to return next year.

They can’t do anything about the load shedding at least they warned me ahead of time
