Gratitude Inn

Een mooie kamer die nog nieuw oogt. De airco werkt super en de badkamer is ook mooi. Vriendelijke eigenaresse en scooterverhuur voor een goede prijs! Accommodatie ligt op 5 minuutjes lopen van het strand en de hoofdstraat waar genoeg restaurantjes te vinden zijn. Via de eigenaresse hebben we een (gedeeld) busje geregeld die ons ophaalde op het vliegveld. Ze stonden klaar met een bordje met onze namen. Een rit van ongeveer 45 min voor 300 peso pp, echt prima prijzen wederom. Wij hebben hier een fijn verblijf gehad!

De straal van de douche was niet altijd even hard maar was meer dan prima!

Die Unterkunft ist abgelegen von der lauten Hauptstraße. Es war sehr sauber und das Personal super freundlich. Wir haben 1-2 Sachen angefragt und uns wurde sofort geholfen! Wirklich klasse!

Nicht gefallen würde ich nicht sagen, die Bilder von der Unterkunft sind sehr hell bearbeitet. Die kleine Terasse vor der Tür ist leider nicht so hell wie auf dem Bild das war sehr schade. Wir haben uns da kein Mal aufgehalten. Ansonsten wirklich alles top!

Lo limpio y las comodidades de cafetera agua en la habitación lo bien que olía y simpáticos que fueron con nosotras en especial el hijo.

Nada todo fue perfecto .

Tenía todo lo necesario. Una habitación super acogedora, con un lavabo excepcional. Disponían de agua gratuita y máquina de café, azúcar moreno y polvo de leche. Nos encantó quedarnos aquí.

Very accessible to the main areas. Clean and complete facilities. Fast wifi. Adorable dog.

The room is very stylish and confortable with a beautiful bathroom. Tess who is in charge of managing the place is super helpful and nice. The location is right in the center of general luna which is great to walk to the beach or grab a tuk tuk anywhere. They also offer affordable scooter rental.

There are frequent power outage on the island but they don’t have a back up generator which should be a must if you want to be able to sleep at night or take a break during the day (because of the heat). However they offered us a free ride back to the airport in compensation of a very long day with no power. While the location is great during the day, I personally couldn’t sleep because of the insanely loud music from the nearby bars. I was more bothered than my girlfriend but if you’re sensitive to loud bass and the occasional karaoke it is not ideal ... Some of the neighbors are also loud during the night or in the early morning but Tess reminded the room next to ours the quiet times to be respectful of your neighbors. I think most places on the island have this same problem unless they are further into the island which requires more transport. So I would not rule this place out especially if you want to go out at night and be close to the shops and restaurants.

Great location, very clean and well-furnished. My room was small but well-furnished, it had a fridge, kettle and most importantly an individual water dispenser! (Adorable dog is also a bonus) The toilet was also spacious with good water pressure (and hair dryer) Within walking distance of many eateries (tourist prices on the left of the main road) For more local and more affordable options, turn left and keep walking down towards Dapa road!

The drying rack/rooms are in the shade 24/7, so you have to move your clothes to the drive way in order to get some sun (not a big deal) The location is also unfortunately behind a club so towards the weekends, it gets a bit noisy (although it stops by midnight)
