Very welcoming hosts. The apartment is clean, spacious and well equiped. It has an outside seating area and a seperate laundry room. Its a lovely quiet area not far on foot into town.

Location – a quieter part of town, yet very close to the center of Funchal within walking distance. Hosts – very kind and responsive, with quick replies and helpful recommendations.
The bed – but of course, that's a matter of personal preference, so it’s not necessarily a negative comment. AC – there was no air conditioning, only portable fans, even though the Booking.com listing mentions air conditioning. Occasional struggle with parking – to park or leave the small parking area directly in front of the apartment, you really need a very small car, like a Smart. Parking nearby can also be a challenge at times.

Greeted early by our hostess as we had arrived early. Lucy also gave us tips for restaurants etc and was responsive when we had questions. Loved the location, walking distance from town. The accommodation is well appointed. Spacious. The photos give a very accurate view of the accommodation. We had a wonderful week in Madeira.
Pillows, none of us could get on with the pillows! This has been commented on before but parking is narrow, luckily we had a very small car.

Our host Lucy was very nice and helpful! Apartment is spacious, modern (excellent bathroom), well equipped and the location is really good - short walk downhill to the city center. The private parking space on property is a big plus.
Be aware that the parking space is tight, suitable for a small car only. If you plan to rent a bigger car you will have to look for a paking space on the street (hard to find, but possible and also free)
