Fantastic view, lots of space, great BBQ house

Great location, quiet spot with a beautiful garden, very relaxing! 20 mins from the airport, 20 mins from Funchal, and max 1 hour to other popular spots. We also got an uber into Funchal one night which was pretty easy to get. We stayed for 2 weeks, the property was very clean and had everything we needed and more. We explored the island with a car, the garage was a huge plus as parking can be an issue. I would definitely recommend this place, and I’d stay again if I go back to Madeira. Absolutely beautiful island. Host was great, thank you Marco for your great communication and letting us stay a couple of hours past check in due to late afternoon flights. Much appreciated! Some reviews have mentioned dogs barking, these are street dogs and can’t be avoided unfortunately, definitely no fault of the owner! There is a dog next door, he’s a little grumpy but soon got used to us and stopped barking ;) Also 3 out of 4 of the outside chairs are broken, didn’t bother us as we used one from the bbq house but for 4 people it would be good if they are repaired or replaced)

Miejsce spokojne , posesja zagospodarowana świetnie , garaż , widok z sypialni , kuchnia doskonale wyposażona , około 10 km do Funchal , jest pralka , suszarka itd. Ktoś wcześniej pisał o szczekającym psie , ale nam to kompletnie nie przeszkadzało , psiak spokojny , czasem wieczorem zaszczeka. Ważne ! Bierzcie pod uwagę swoje umiejętności prowadzenia auta. :-) No , ale to dotyczy całej Madery.

Brakowało nam półek w szafach , były same wieszaki , ale da się pokombinować.

Spacious house on a nice location with some good view of the ocean. We had a good but very quick tour of the house, and afterwards he gave us some tips for restaurants, hikes, etc. to be done. Baby bed available and well-equipped kitchen and come with a big garage.

The house misses cosiness and lacks eye for detail. It looks to me it was bought and immediately put online for rent without bothering to arrange some details like: - no paintings but a lot of nails in the walls where the paintings used to be - shower leaking - no attachment for the shower head - superficialley clean but not in detail - the worst curtains possible for one of the bedrooms - old drawers and cabinets smelling like mould - broken freezer - a lot of missing light bulbs - super dusty and unclean pool house -.... Oh and the neighbours's dog barks at night, lovely. A nice and big house, but for this price you're looking for a place that makes you feel welcome and even a little at home. Wouldn't have been a problem in our 20's, but in your 30's you're looking for a bit more. Oh, again the neighbours's dog barks at night, lovely.
