Friendly staff; yummy breakfast; very comfy beds and room; lots of good facilities.

The staff (when we saw them) were friendly.

Listing said private bathroom (and listed private toilet separately) which was the ONLY reason we booked. Other properties without private bathrooms were much cheaper. We arrived to find there was only a private toilet. The room also looked smaller than it did in photos. We would've spoken to someone, but even though we checked in within the check in time on Booking, there was just a key and a note saying we were late. The room was not cleaned once over 4 nights. We only saw staff on our first morning and at breakfast. Towels were not changed and we couldn't find clean ones. Overall, it's fine, but you can get better for the same price.

Newly open and run by some Aussie, had a great time with them.

Great location near the main bus terminal in Nozawa Onsen yet away from the noise of Oyu street. Big rooms with shared sinks and toilets. Restaurant attached is nice and cozy for dinner

Staff could've been better trained especially in the morning as there was a bit of a wait to get attended to. Toilets can be upgraded to have bidets :( Beddings can be upgraded and rooms can be better cleaned as there were broken paper windows and I noticed some cobwebs on the ceiling

Powerful dry room for ski

When I asked about tooth brush, the staff told me to buy it in konbini. When I was signing the contract, there was an oral hygiene kit provided paragraph, so I asked again, this was another staff and he said yes, they are proving it. Then I couldn’t find a hair drier and asked for it, the stuff gave it to me and I went to the bath. After bath I realised that the hair drier is broken. I went to the reception, it was closed. I called 5 times their SOS number -zero reaction. So I was with wet hair in the middle of winter, wouldn’t be able to go outside to have dinner. I was lucky to solve the problem and found the same hair drier And ! BTW it was 5 gram little toy with lights, it is not a hair drier! It took literally 25 minutes to dry my hair! Another 25 for my friend! And we were late for most of the places to get dinner! The worst is their breakfast. 2 half boiled eggs and a bacon. That’s it! You hungry? Get your glucose spike with white bread and cereals. That’s it! Not a huge fan of Japanese breakfast, but damn, I’d rather stay in Japanese ryokan!
