The staff was very helpful offering information and recomandation and if you follow those you will be able to see more of relevant locaitons, eat where really matters, avoiding turist traps. They are willing to help you, I felt like some friends hosted me, not some strangers running a random hotel. Praiano it the most advantagious city on Amalfy coast with more sun then every other locations around (in comparation, Positano is in shadow when you look at it from Praiano eating dinner on a terrace with view over the Tyrrhenian Sea :-8) you can have the best susets here. Local bus stop is right in front of the hotel.

Bathtub Jacuzzi didn’t work

Hotel Holiday, where we spent five nights, was a great place to stay in Praiano! The room was clean and comfortable, with an incredible sea view. The hotel is up on the hill, but if you don’t want to walk there is a bus stop right at the front door. The breakfast provided a delicious buffet with a large variety of items that should satisfy the most discerning (or picky) diner. Best of all, the staff was fantastic. Marianna (the owner), her son Omar, and staff Chiara were warm, welcoming and oh, so helpful. Luigi, at breakfast, brought our coffee orders from the second morning on without prompting. Omar set up a tour of the local limoncello operation “on the spot” when our trip to Capri was cancelled due to rough seas. We felt like we were staying with old friends, and when we left there were hugs all around. Note that the hotel crew can also help by setting up trips and tours from Praiano, rides to Naples, and all the rest. Just ask when you reserve your room. Highly recommended!
