Villa Mogador

We selected this property and decided to travel from Amizmiz Which is a 3-hour drive from where we were to Essaouira. When we were about 20 minutes from the property we were told that the owners were in Marrakech and so could not be there to facilitate our stay. This meant that we completely ruined our overnight as we had to find another accommodation and by the time we had done that and booked in there was no time left to enjoy our stay. Incredibly incompetent of the owners and a complete waste of our overnight holiday. My own personal feeling is that people who do this to clients should be banned from booking.com.

Everything about this owner is bad. Do not risk staying at this property as they have no consideration for their clients at all.

The location is very good and comfortable

Xavier is a very nice Owner who made me feel home since I stepped in his place. He also gave me a bigger room than the one I’ve booked because it had the right access to the terrace for my little rescued puppy I was staying with. His place is very cozy and I felt the warmth straight away entering the house. I loved the peace there and the quiet morning waking up with zero noises but only the song of the birds! I will come back sure when in Essaouira.

Xavier was a very friendly host and the evening meal and breakfast was fantastic 😊

Cleanliness

Unfortunately the main reason to stay at this property was the swimming pool, but it wasn’t only not working, there was a renovation going on , so we couldn’t even use the pool surrounding because of the noise and the privacy of my family. This is unacceptable, this person shouldn’t be on booking or any reliable platform. We also read good reviews on breakfast, not our case, what a shame….
