The room was spacious.

We stayed in some lovely hotels with very friendly and accommodating staff on our little tour of Puglia. This hotel was not one of them! The facilitators are in need of serious maintenance - we had to request our shower to be fixed as the shower head was broken. The breakfast served was very disappointing, but the person serving was perhaps the rudest hotel staff member we ever encountered. Her attitude was terrible. It was almost comical. The hotel had bikes on offer to cycle into town, but they were in very bad repair and mostly flat. The hotel charged extra for water and towels - the price point is quite high for the area but nothing is complimentary. A regrettable experience.

Well, where do I start? The manager and receptionist come across as rude. It said pets allowed, but they were not a pet friendly hotel. We paid extra for a sea view, but couldn't see it through the glass, wasted our money there! Would have been better to have had a room at the back. It's right on a main road, so all we could hear for 24h was traffic. There is no outside seating area to chill out after breakfast or with a beer in the evening. The hotel was very hot on the 2nd floor and we were not allowed to use the lift because of our pet. We had to ask 4 times for an ashtray for the balcony. Took days to get the wifi codes, one for upstairs and one for downstairs that we couldn't get either to work? gave up in the end. Rang Booking.com to complain, to be fair they were pretty useless , they wanted me to rate them straight after my phone call and they had not even done anything ( wasted 1 hour of my life ) hopeless. We had to get in the car every night and drive up to the promenade, too far to walk. Not sure what you pay a tourist tax the amount of rubbish everywhere. The hotel will suit some guests, but not us, I'm afraid.

nothing really terrible in particular - I realize that it’s a summer vacation type hotel but the gym was poorly appointed and the staff, though very friendly, was unable to provide the correct wifi password for 2 days.
