Absolutely beautiful location, very calm and quiet (come just to rest, bring a book). Really friendly and helpful staff. Be ready to take things very slow.

Alles! Nach einem sehr herzlichen Empfang durften wir unser absolut fantastisches Zimmer beziehen. Ein unglaublich schön eingerichtetes Zimmer mit allem was man braucht. Die Umgebung ein absoluter Traum. Wir konnten hier so richtig entspannen und auftanken. Die Gastgeber sind super lieb und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt. Schade haben wir nicht länger gebucht. Wir werden aber wieder kommen und bestimmt für länger. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist zwar holprig, aber auch sehr spannend. Dieser Weg ist es wert. Danke für die wundervolle Zeit.

The owners are very friendly, and they will try to create the best stay for you. Communication was sometimes a little challenging because of the language barrier, but you can definitely have an easy conversation with the man. The room is beautifully handmade by the owner and 2 other men, with tasteful design. The shower is very nice, with good water pressure and warm water. Everything was very clean and comfy.

The distance to Kampot city centre is around a 15 -minute tuktuk or scooter ride. You are in a very small basic Cambodian old school village with a very bumpy dirt road. But at the same time, this is the charm of the place as well! 😊 so it is not a bad thing, you just have to take it into account.

The hosts/owners, Naret and Sarong, are the most lovely people, I felt really looked after. So much so that they checked how my onward journey was going on the day I left, incredible! The room was beautifully done so I took a few photos for decor ideas! I didn’t have a scooter or a car so was reliant on tuk tuks. This wasn’t a problem really as the villa is just 10 minutes out of Kampot town and Grab is available. But I think having a scooter would be handy. The roads leading to the villa are unmade, but this is normal for the area. The villa is rural so I ate there each night and it was tasty. The outdoor restaurant and seating area is really stylish. The villa is a beautiful calm authentic retreat. The owners have thought of details other places don’t. For example, a fan over the room’s outdoor seating. Such care and attention deserves recognition.

It’s just a beautiful setting, perfectly designed for an oasis of peace and tranquility. The rooms are so spacious and my Mountain View room had really high ceilings. It was also furnished in a minimal way with authentic Cambodian pieces and artwork. Just stunning and so restful and pleasing on the eyes. You could rent a scooter for 8$ to 12$ a day. As others have mentioned, it’s a 10/12 minute ride from the centre. I really enjoyed coming back after a bust day sightseeing to this haven. We ate 3 evenings at the Villa as the food is incredibly tasty and flavourful and v fair prices. She’s an excellent cook! It is v relaxed so if you’re not in a hurry it’ll suit you. Naret and Sarong are constantly smiling and helpful.

Our family had the most delightful stay at Villa Romduol, Kampot. The accommodation is a hidden gem. Our first day was a bit culture shock driving through the small village on rough roads, but it was all part of the adventure and "element of surprise." We rode our scooters daily (even at night and early morning without any problem). Loved it! Villa Romduol is just a short drive to Kampot town. The hotel is tranquil, with a separate open, breezy dining traditional wooden structure. The landscape is colorful tropical plants, it was a great joy to wonder and to just sit in front of the rooms or hang out in the dining area. The restaurant (I call it a restaurant because there's no restaurant nearby), run by the host (Naret and Sarong) was also the best meal experience in Kampot by far :), with a good variety of traditional dishes. We also very much enjoyed our impromptu seafood cooking lesson in the evening. The host family came out and helped us grilled fresh seafood - and hung out with us. The rooms were spacious, very clean and the highlight was the friendly and attentive host who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Villa Romduol is a small boutique hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Kampot. We enjoyed our lovely peaceful evening playing games. We would highly recommend it. Naret and Sarong - we missed you! ...and missing your passion fruit and honey drink :)

Fenomenalne miejsce na prowincji aby odpocząć w ogrodzie. Standard pokoi wyższy niż w pięciogwiazdkowych hotelach. Pyszne domowe jedzenie.

Dojazd do willi to droga po wertepach poza miasto. Ma to swoje plusy ale i minusy. Aczkolwiek nie było sytuacji że jakiś tuk-tuk tam nie chciał tam pojechać.
