"Great little homestay."

10.0

The family were really friendly and helpful. Our flight was cancelled, then delayed, we arrived at 3.30am the following day and they waited up.for us. I had a lovely head massage which was a good duration and price. We had a nice breakfast which we preordered the night before. The location is near to everything, but quiet. We had a good sleep. We will definitely stay again if in Fort Kochi.

The room was a little small, but we only used it to wash and sleep, so was adequate. Other than that all was good.

"Nice and quiet, beuatiful roof terrace and lovely food and hosts!"

8.0

The location was super good (only a short walk from everywhere) and a bit tucked away and quiet. The hosts were so lovely and accomodating, the food delicous, especially having breakfast on the rooftop terrace with all the plants was super nice!

We struggled a bit with the humidity as the room has no aircon - just be aware of that (though that applies to everywhere in Kochi I guess and the ad doesn't say the room comes with AC :)).

"Perfect and genuine homestay"

10.0

Genuine, comfortable, and a very good homestay. I stayed in the family 's one room that's let.out to guests. The house is in a quiet little side street, within 10 minutes walk from the Santa Cruz Cathedral and the historic town centre of Fort Kochi. It could not be more central. They are a lovely family, friendly, speaking good English. The home is spotless, and I slept very well in a good-sized bedroom, which has an attached bathroom. I will most definitely stay here again, next time I visit Kochi.

Dion homestay is a real experience of how a Homestay should be. At the moment i stepped in to the house, all the family made me feel like i was part of them. They ensured i had everything i need, took care of my needs and offered their services: the laundry was very good. Beakfast, cooked by the mum, it was delicious. I also had an amazing henna service done...so lovely. All the house look really artistic, mural paintings and with a lot of plants... it's just gorgeous. Location is perfect: quiet zone but close to the main atractions of Fort Kochi. Everything is super clean and the bed is comfy. I was also lucky to meet baby Dion, whose name is in the property ❤️ Thanks for the experience, i recommend a lot this homestay and I will keep the family in my heart. Hope to see then again 🫂

Everything was perfect.

"Beautiful homestay, great value for money"

10.0

This is a beautiful homestay tucked away in a quiet side street just off the main road. The room is small but very clean and comfortable. The space is extended by a small roof terrace, lovingly decorated with a rug and lots of plants. It’s a little oasis in the middle of an otherwise very busy city. Unfortunately, we came down with food poisoning just as we arrived in Fort Kochi, but we count our lucky stars that we had booked to stay at Dion Homestay. Rincy and her family took such good care of us, ensuring we were well-fed and hydrated and had everything we needed for a speedy recovery, including medicine. Rincy even took me to the hospital on my first night and sat with me for hours until I was discharged. We were truly looked after as though we were family. Rincy’s mother, Mary, is an excellent chef and prepared delicious food for us throughout our stay. Rincy’s father is a tailor and kindly adjusted my friend’s trousers at no extra charge. Rincy’s brother, Rhindu also dropped by and arranged a taxi for us to Munnar. Rincy herself is a great henna artist and offers henna as an additional service. Every member of the family helped us in one way or another. We highly recommend staying here.
