The property is truly located in the best location on Moorea. There is a private beach in front of the property across the street and there’s plenty of fish in the water, including sharks and stingrays. Just a short drive down the road about 10 minutes. The owner allows you to park at his property and you don’t have to worry about your car. There, you will find an awesome kayak that you can take to the islands in front of his property. There you can see sharks, stingrays, turtles and every fish imaginable. The best part is you will see people paying hundreds dollars for the experience you get for free with the kayak. The property is a great value for being able to get groceries and save money on preparing your own meals. The islands are very expensive to eat out every day so having a complete kitchen is a great benefit. Just remember if you’re coming to the islands, this is a tropical area and there’s plenty of critters from geckos to ants. It’s just part of life here! The property is very clean, but don’t be concerned if you see animals they’re all harmless.

Très bien situé

Globalement bon logement Mais agencement un peu bizarre avec une chambre derrière la salle de bain Ce n’est pas une maison ouverte mais attendez vous à avoir la faune locale dans la maison ( souris, lézard, fourmis… ) à attendre +/- en milieu tropical Accueil mitigé initialement normalement quand jeanro nous a fait payé 105€ de plus car nous étions 3 et non 2 suite à une erreur lors de la résa mais qui ne changeait rien en pratique Par contre la suite du séjour était top avec jeanro qui nous a donné pleins de conseils et nous a prêté des kayaks pour des sorties en lagon Dans l’ensemble je recommande l’expérience plutôt authentique À noter un très bon spot de snorkelling juste en face en regard d’une plage familial non référencé sur Google

Fantastic location and wonderful accommodations. Well appointed. Jeanro is incredibly helpful and nice and the kayaks are an excellent bonus.

Jean a été très accueillant et nous a fourni beaucoup d’informations très utiles avant notre arrivée. Le logement est situé en bord de route, et vous pouvez aller vous baigner de l’autre côté, dans le lagon : c’est très calme et paisible. À seulement sept minutes en voiture plus au nord, Jean pourra vous prêter un kayak deux places, situé en face de trois spots incroyables de snorkeling (raies, requins à pointe noire et tortues). Nous avons passé trois nuits dans le logement et avons beaucoup aimé : excellent rapport qualité-prix !

Le seul point négatif est le bruit des voitures car le logement est en bord de route.

It was away from the busy area, which we liked. We were right across the street from a private beach, only saw maybe 4 people and the snorkeling was very good there. Saw fish, rays, and sharks. The AC worked really well. A very nice place to stay. WiFi worked well. Parking was available

Can’t think of anything

The owner communicated very well. The accommodations were in a great location on the quieter side of the island but not far from anything, and was easy to find. The owner had a kayak we could use for the day and saw many of the areas that tourists would pay to see which was a huge bonus!

Not much! The accommodations were a little outdated but that doesn’t bother us.
