"Traumhaft schöne Unterkunft!"

Die Unterkunft war komplett ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt, von Waschmaschine bis hin zum Toaster. Zudem war alles sehr sauber und sehr stillvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt! Beide Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und nett.

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de host! Zeer vriendelijk, attent en behulpzaam. Een heerlijke welkomsmand met lekkere streekproducten stond voor ons klaar! We konden altijd mailen of appen en we werden goed geholpen met tips en routes! Absoluut een aanrader!

The best place I have stayed in 20 years of travel. Tasteful and very well thought-out house. Everything is provided and thought of for travellers. Everything in the house is chosen with care instead of maximizing owner's profit. It all shows and is appreciated. The grounds are huge and beautiful. The location of Caloura is ideal for exploring the whole island of Sao Miguel due to its central location that is still extremely quiet and tranquil compared to the rather ugly city of Ponta Delgada and the overly-touristy souvenir shop town of Furnas. I had he best sleep of my life in this place because it is so quiet and the mattress so good. On top of it all, the host couple are very friendly and genuine. I definitely hope to be back. Thank you!

This place is an absolute gem - even better than the pictures! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the lush garden, the serene bamboo forest, and the scent of eucalyptus and guava trees that filled the air. It truly felt like stepping into a tropical paradise. There are so many cozy outdoor spots to unwind - perfect for reading, doing yoga, sipping a smoothie, or simply soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The house itself was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a longer stay, including a full kitchen. The bed was super comfortable, with a great selection of pillows and blackout electric curtains that made sleeping a dream. There was even the washing machine that we could use. We even had the joy of seeing a mother hen with her little chicks and were greeted by multiple rainbows during our stay - magical touches that made the experience unforgettable. I honestly wish I could take this house with me. It’s a place that nourishes the soul. Highly recommended for anyone seeking beauty, tranquility, and a touch of nature’s magic.
