Mangal Suites

Great location very near the Main Street and beach. Great security and very quiet and private. The host: Daniel was exceptional and gave us great advice and help whilst Hurricane Erick struck, he responded quickly to any issues and was highly professional.

Wonderful house right next to a lot of amazing bars and cafes, huge room with A/C and well organized kitchen, very responsive and helpful owner, he even asked the neighbors to bring me food to the room after I got injured while surfing...thank you!

Mangal suites was quite an extraordinary place. We chose it because it was close to the airport, and we were only overnighting on our way to Oaxaca. We also had a number of special requests because of my wife's chemical sensitivities to scented cleaning products. The people there were so helpful in making sure everything we needed was done, and that there were no unexpected problems. But the place itself was amazing, and a hub for other activities and events, related to alternative health practices and spirituality.. One didn't need to be part of any of the other activities to feel welcomed and comfortable here, as our schedule didn't correspond the calendar of events, so for us it was just a very quiet and relaxing stay in a beautiful, peaceful, safe compound, with lovely grounds and rooms and a pool, all within less than half hour taxi to the airport. It is in the jungle in a corner of cancun, and walking to a bar or club or fancy restaurant is not possible, but in our case it also was not wanted. They did however make a wonderful vegetarian meal for us that we had pre-arranged, and then had a relaxing evening talking to the chef/manager, and a interesting breakfast with the delightful owner who told us stories about the unique buildings and grounds. We were there in the off season, so things were quiet, so we embraced this unique opportunity to enjoy a place certainly not for everybody, but perfect for us.

What we actually liked, but others may not, is it is a cab ride from the night life, or beaches of cancun. It is not party central, but a peaceful relaxing sanctuary tucked away in a corner of cancun that still is more jungle than city. I'm sure for a longer stay, you could establish a connection with the taxi drivers to get to wherever you wanted, but you can't walk out of the gate whenever you want and access the city or beach life by walking a few blocks or jumping on a bus. It was sooo quiet it was wonderful.

Design

What a wonderful studio! Very clean and comfortable. A lovely balcony to drink your coffee in the shade. A very well equipped kitchen. Very good location and quiet! I came back and stayed another 4 nights! Very helpful host. Would definitely recommend!!!

I had a fantastic stay at Mangal Suites! The owner was very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Located in a great neighborhood, it was close to everything but still quiet. Great value for the price—I highly recommend it!

The place was very clean and spacious, with all the facilities you would need or want. It's close to some nice streets in Zicatela and not far from the beach, as well as to the main road. We didn't cook but the kitchen facilities seemed great. I could see myself staying there for longer and coming back!

The sheets and pillows all had some white specks of cotton that accumulated all over and also got onto our clothes. They were very clean but left some cotton residue.

We stayed for 5 nights and absolutely loved our time here. It’s clean, comfortable, and quiet without being too far away from town. The host was incredibly hospitable and assisted us with a later check out before our night bus. I would highly recommend Mangal Suites for your next visit to La Punta!
