Alessandro showed us around the property, then took us on a short tour of the neighborhood, recommending restaurants and points of interest. He was the perfect host, always available to answer any questions. The apartment and location are fantastic.

Great location, lots of space, wonderful host. The view from the terrace is magnificent. Alessandro was kind enough to help us secure a parking space near the building, which is a huge deal in Ortigia.

The internet is a bit weak and the boiler had to be reset to get the hot water running. Nothing major, but worth mentioning.

The property was so spacious for our family. The bedrooms were large and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge room was really great for relaxing. There was a great outdoor area with views to the sea. Everything was perfect. Our host Alessandro was amazing and took us on a tour of Ortigia and recommended lots of things to do and restaurants to visit.

This is an absolute gem of an apartment and I would really recommend it for your stay in Ortigia if you have big(gish) family like us. My wife and our three daughters absolutely loved the excellent location, space, lovely view, three bathrooms (!). There is everything you need at the apartment with the added bonus of an absolutely amazing host Alessandro who is always there for you if you have any questions. He gave us a lot of tips well in advance what to do and where to visit, gave a contact for good taxi for airport transfer and he shows you around. There is an abundance of nice places to eat lovely Sicilian food nearby plus there are number of beaches in the vicinity. The nearest one is a stony beach and not big but cosy enough for a nice swim, clean water and a lot of fish to chase when you dive. Make sure you bring your water shoes with you and you'll be good. But there is also a small sandy beach nearby. Check out in advance if there is a performance at the Greek Theatre in Syracuse. Sitting there and listening to Italian opera with stars above you was something else! Visit to the market is another must. Plus, we also visited puppet theatre and also really enjoyed it. There are really lots of things to do! All in all it was an absolutely wonderful stay, highly recommend!

We were a group of 6 and Alessandro’s property was perfect. Spacious with fantastic views we were so happy to have found this apartment in such an excellent location. the best part was Alessandro’s hospitality. he welcomed us and helped us with a lot of luggage. He invited us on a short walking tour of the neighbourhood of Ortigia and provided recommendations for eating and drinking and showed us Piazza Duomo. The apartment is big, clean and easy to use. we absolutely loved our stay. Grazie Alessandro.
