The location- nice place to feel at peace with nature

Couldn't relax in living room as it smelt of old furniture and didn't appear inviting

Everything was perfect...fabulous stay, ( far too brief, but will be back again). Host so attentive and kind. Such a beautiful location and property. The garden was like being in paradise.

Can't find any fault

It is a very nice place. In a very quiet location in the forest. Plenty of vegetation. We very much liked the staff and they became our friends: Petit Joe, Babu and others. Neighbors are friendly and we made friends in the village very soon. The owner Malika and manager Albert are good persons, they help. Recommended. more: linktr.ee/nomadicmind

We cannot think of anything bad. The hotel is a bit far from the beach and town - maybe 20 min walk from both, but this isn't a deficiency. I noticed the hotels that are closer to the beach experience a lot of wind, while hotels close to the road are noisy because the fish market is close and traffic is high. Here in Karamba it is very quiet.

We loved our contact with the owner Malika, she is a very interesting and knowledgeable person who helped us with all we needed. The garden is fabulous place to have a fire / BBQ and for birdwatching. Room was very cozy, spacious and we loved the communal kitchen to cook in. Good WiFi. Many areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings. 20 min walk from town / 20 min walk from the beach.

The GPS coordinates on booking were wrong, Malika can give you the correct ones. She has tried to change them with booking but they haven’t changed them yet.

Great blend of comfort and adventure! A sweet little oasis in the forest with a short walk to a beautiful beach! The food was so delicious and everyone so friendly and kind! Can’t wait to go back!

That I could not stay longer. Truly an amazing place!

This is our second visit to this compound, the first time back in February 2020. The property is nestled in a lovely little village and we love it here. Our room which looked out across the extensive garden was nicely prepared for us with an en-suite, a little fully equipped kitchenette was also at our disposal. The main kitchen has everything you could ever need and we were made most welcome to borrow anything which we needed. The traditional fixtures and fittings really make this place special with the most beautiful handcrafted wood everywhere, the doors, the shutters, the amazing ceilings……. all make for a memorable stay! The first night we ate in the village and on the second night we ate at the property, an absolutely delicious fish benechin- WOWZER!!! It was handy to have the little kitchenette for our tea and coffees. The beach is a short walk away through amazing unspoilt terrain and once there you realise it is exactly as remembered, STUNNING!! Kofe has a little rustic and natural bar on the beach which I was pleased to see still exists serving nice cold drinks. When in this area of Senegal this will always be our choice for accommodation, some beautiful memories here 😊
