I don't know how to describe this experience. It was a comfortable stay for us. We had an electric kettle, plates, cups, sugar to make tea, even tea leaves.The room had a hair dryer, cupboard, cloth rack, and a large mirror. The comfortable bed gave me a good night's sleep. There was also fast and good air conditioning. There were restaurants, clothing shops, and surf board rental shops nearby. There was the best wifi I had in Sri Lanka. The wifi was very fast. And the garden full of greenery makes the mind relax.Peacocks come to the peaceful environment every morning. There is nothing more relaxing than watching them. The teak trees throughout the garden provide shade. The fresh breeze is refreshing and we cannot forget the friendly staff. They provided us with everything we needed.

It is a new hotel room which contained all the facilities that l expected. l am highly recommended.

Wished we could have stayed here longer! It’s a great location, rooms were clean and spacious and the owner was really friendly and helpful! Overall a great stay - and we got greeted with a coconut on arrival :)

This is an almost brand new property. It is immaculately clean, with a comfortable room and bed. I had the best sleep in months here. The well appointed kitchen area has a fridge and kettle, and tea is generously provided. Each room has a terrace overlooking the garden where you can see peacocks and monkeys. It has a quiet and peaceful feel to it while being close to the beach, cafes etc. Surein and his staff were kind and helpful, and were also very interesting to talk to. Overall it is excellent value for money and I highly recommend this property for your stay in Hiriketiya.

Not a single thing!

Brand new accommodation in a great location, with everything within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, the AC works well, and the internet is very fast. The host is super kind. We were able to check in early, and he also helped us find a driver to Tissamaharama at a good and reasonable price. Highly recommended! I would stay here again when visiting Hiriketiya next time.

Everything. It is a brand-new pleasant hotel with a few large rooms. The room has everything you need inside, it is modern and super clean. The AC works very well and the wifi is excellent, the fastest internet I had in all Sri Lanka. The most important thing is the kindness of the people who run the place. They helped me with my trip, they even went to the train station to check the train schedule for me, and negotiated the price of the tuk tuk to get to the station. The hotel is also very well located, I did everything on foot, and there are plenty of nice restaurants and yoga places around. I recommend ++++ this hotel to anyone. I felt very well and safe there.

A highly recommended new and excellent hotel. The rooms have good bathrooms and showers, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The hosts speak good English—Surein is incredibly kind and helped us with many questions about the area and recommendations in Sri Lanka. His staff member, Sakith, is a hardworking, smart, and friendly guy. Everything we asked for was provided immediately. We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely return!

We spent 3 nights at the Hiri Fortress and loved every single moment there. The rooms are private, spacious , and immaculately clean. It was an incredibly comfortable stay and our highlight so far in Sri Lanka. The best part of it was the hospitality extended by Sakith and his father, who took wonderful care of us and stayed in touch throughout via WhatsApp. Highly recommend!
