Ginerva rooms is situated in a beautiful, vibrant square with fairy lights strung all around. The location was easy to find. Location is in the heart of Bari Vecchia so everything is easily walkable. We felt safe here. The room itself was clean and comfortable. We didn't see any staff but they were easily reachable via WhatsApp - luckily as we left our key card in the room by accident one day and had to message staff, they helped right away! We were grateful for the little touches like hotel slippers & a voucher for a free breakfast coffee & croissant at a nearby cafe.

De locatie is top, kamer is schoon, bed is goed. Er zit een deur in de kamer, ik dacht met toegang tot een balkonnetje, maar die kwam uit in een soort van luchtsluis tussen verschillende huizen, gevuld met allerlei leidingen.

Die deur kreeg ik vervolgens met geen mogelijkheid dicht, na contact met de host, zeker een uur gewacht tot er iemand zou komen, maar nooit gezien. Uiteindelijk hebben de naaste lokale bewoners dit voor me opgelost 🙏🏻. Vervolgens kreeg ik een appje om 23.15 ‘s avonds met de mededeling dat ik niet had betaald. Ik kon dit doen via een door de host toegestuurde link of cash…..Ik heb toen maar via de Booking app betaald, terwijl het bedrag via m’n creditcard zou gaan. Zojuist contact gehad met Booking en de medewerker vertelde me dat wat de host heeft geappt naar me, nooit mag. Het app contact met de host ging in slecht Engels en kwam niet erg vriendelijk over. Jammer van de laatste avond/nacht in Italië…….

La experiencia que tuve con este hospedaje fue un desastre. Reservé este hospedaje porque mi vuelo era muy tarde y llegaba a Bari a las 23.25. Por consiguiente al hospedaje iba a estar llegando 00.30 con suerte. Ni bien lo reserve, me comuniqué por mensaje informando esta situación y me dijeron que el check in era automático y que no iba a tener problemas. El día anterior les pasé mi celular para que me pasen las instrucciones porque no me contactaron. Me pasaron las instrucciones y me dijeron que con el mismo código se abría la puerta que da a la calle y la del cuarto. A su vez me indicaron que dentro, iban a haber tarjetas para abrí el cuarto. 00.10 estaba hablando con el hospedaje indicando que estaba en camino. 00.30 ya estaba en el hospedaje. Ingreso por la primer puerta. Probé el código para ingresar al cuarto y NO SE PODÍA. Llame por teléfono, les escribí y NUNA ME RESPONDIERON. Estuve a punto de dormir en la calle. Me salvé porque revisamos toda la recepción y por casualidad encontramos unas llaves, las probamos y era las de nuestro cuarto y pudimos dormir. Recien la persona a cargo apareció al otro día a las 8 am. Hubiésemos dormido en la calle si no encontrábamos la llave. Me quejé, y en vez de pedirme disculpas me dijeron que yo no entendí las instrucciones (las cuales no eran para nada dificiles) En resumen, NO SE LOS RECOMIENDO PARA NADA.

Everything was nice and cosy, bed was comfortable and the room is well equipped! Great location with friendly nightlife on the streets! Check in is easy and you’ll get the information in time via whatsapp. If we come back to Bari, will choose Ginevra Rooms again!

The main positives of this property were its excellent location and the communication with the host. The apartment is situated in the Old Town, within walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants, and shops, which made exploring the area very convenient. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations. The bathroom was very small and there was visible mold inside. In addition, water leaked from the shower enclosure every time we took a shower, leaving the entire bathroom floor flooded. We were provided with only one floor towel/mat for a five-day stay, which was not sufficient to deal with the constant water on the floor. The room itself was not designed in a very practical way. The refrigerator automatically switched off whenever we left the room because it was connected to the room’s power system. As a result, it was impossible to keep drinks or even bottled water cold during the day. We were also disappointed with the cleanliness. The bed sheets did not appear to be as clean as expected, which negatively affected our overall comfort.
