UNDERBERG INN

Very friendly and helpful staff - the lady who tends the housekeeping and bedrooms was very kind and accommodating. My room was simple but clean and good value for money. For 1-2 nights away from home this location is fine.

The town centre location won't suit everyone and do bear in mind that this hotel is attached to a pub. It was quiet during my stay, but I suspect that during very busy periods the hotel could be noisy at night, as several of the rooms are multiple occupancy and may appeal more to young groups.

We did not sleep there and went and found other accommodation. We did not have bath towels in our room and no hot water. I went into one of the other rooms and found two towels. Having to drive through the backyard where people were drinking and passing out was no good. There was also a drunk man sitting on the top step at the side entries where we had to go into the passage drinking It seemed as if he was staff as the lady from the front desk brought him a meal.
