The owner was really welcoming, very helpful. More over he bought us many things for breakfast because we came quite late in the evening. The apartment was clean and fully equipped. Very good location, close to the main tourist highlights.

Friendly host, spoke good english and the communication was clear.. The place was very clean and nicely furnished. The fridge had a nice breakfast and the host had even left us a bottle of bubbles. The view from the window was great. The house has two levels which both have separate entrances. We stayed in the bottom appartment. The locals are also very friendly, as are the guests staying in the houses around it. Everybody is there to have a relaxing time. The main bedroom of the house has a view both on the lake and looks over a sort of small courtyard. The whole area is high up from the main road, and it is a maze of old buildings, small stairs and walkways. Very pictoresque and quite steep to walk. There is limited parking near the house, so it is recommended to drive to the courtyard, unload your stuff and then park down near the road. There is a small train station 100m away where there is a small parking space. There is a tv with amazon prime and there is wifi. My only recommendation would be some kind of rolling mosquito screen for the master bedroom window. This would be a great addition! The 1st floor apartment has a main bedroom and a fold-out bed in the livingroom. We stayed there with 4 adults and a baby, so we definitely got our money's worth! Well worth the price.

Amazing! Too bad we were only staying one night. Gabriele, our host, had stocked the fridge and bought us an Italian Easter cake. He helped get a table at an exotic local restaurant in the woods in a nearby village. He set our son up with wii after a long drive. Gabriele was more than a host - and is now a friend for life!
