Domus Pompeii

The apartment was extremely clean, with excellently stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Full continental breakfast, Heating, A/C and WiFi available. Extra bedding if needed. Close to public transport, shops and restaurants.

The hostesses were very nice, came to meet us and showed us to the parking. The rooms were clean and pleasant. The breakfast was self service - they prepared all the ingredients in advance so we still had to prepare the food for ourselves. The location is great - about 20 min. walk to Pompei ruins, near a beautiful church and a nice street. There's also a very close supermarket.

The breakfast content was a bit basic and some kitchen stuff was missing - cleaning and hand towel for example. A bit more attention to refresh the food supply (coffee powder, cornflakes...) would have helped, and yet it was OK for us and we liked the place.

Giovanna was very nice. The apartment is very clean and had everything we needed. The food provided for Breakfast was really nice. The fresh fruit was a nice surprise! It was a great location, walked to Pompeii and close to a metro station that had great access.

The water heater would go cold after a little bit.

Everything was clean and updated. Great for a traveling family!

Easy to get to, walking to distance to restaurant, shops and the ruins.

Close to the ruins, near restaurants and a short walk to the train station. Two bedrooms and two private bathrooms. Good kitchen. They helped us with keeping luggage there a few hours past checkout.

Very pleasant and cosy, owner was very sweet, rooms were absolutely clean.

The apartment is in a good location, clean, comfortable and the hosts were welcoming. Communication was great even though we didn’t speak the same language and check-in was smooth. Giovanna and her family were super nice. I would recommend a bigger coffee machine as it only has one small moka machine (= one small cup). However, the area has many coffee shops so that it is not a big deal.

We were charged an extra 20 euros for a “final cleaning” that were not mentioned in the price breakdown, property policies or anywhere in the detail. Even with that, the total still made the booking a good value for money, but it should be listed when you reserve so that you don’t have any surprises and know how to budget. I haven’t seen this anywhere else before, it might be normal in the region, but should be advertised beforehand, not at the property when you arrive.
