Shisa Cottage

The lounge was comfortable. The washing machine nade life easy. The house is neat and clean. More than enough kitchenware provided. Kindly consider having 1 more big pot.

No wardrobe in the other 2 rooms which meant living out of a suitcase literally. It was a shlep having to unpack and pack each time a change of clothes was needed. The room that does have a wardrobe did not have hangers so basically we had to keep our jackets in the car or lounge on the couch. No where to hang ironed outfits. The button you press when using the overhead shower kept popping up when water comes out.

The place was clean, and the location was perfect and quiet. The host was so friendly and accommodating, they even gave us an update on some of the road closures due to Nedbank Cup final which was very helpful. We had such an amazing time, and we will definitely book again for our next visit to Durban.

Airconditioning in the lounge and bedrooms. Location is very central to get onto the highways and proceed to where you are going. Also, the area is surrounded by nice takeaway options. But you can see effort has been put in to make your stay comfortable, the house seems to be newly renovated as well

The area seems a bit dodgy, too close to the townships. The WIFI signal is also very poor. The kitchen is very small. If you are going to rent out your house as well, it should be neutral of religion. We found the house smalling of incense and there were religious stuff hanging around the house.
