Bedding and the bed itself i contacted the host on my arrival and complained about the bedding and she said she is sorry if it was not up to my standard that she will improve for future guests but what surprised me was that housekeeping provided god linen on Saturday when i was checking out the following morning from my 4 night stay in short i didnt enjoy my stay there. And there were hair all over the floor

Location was good, near to the shopping center and beachfront. The complex is safe with 24/7 security for peace of mind.

The unit was not clean upon arrival and i discovered bed bugs in the bed. Additionally the pillows had yellow stains including what appeared to be blood as no pillow protective covers were used. There was no mattress protector which i had to request separately. As a result, i experienced bites all over my body and head, leading to a highly uncomfortable stay and ultimately requiring me to leave the apartment earlier than planned. The washing machine in the unit was old, rusty and had visible mould that i needed to clean before using it. The kitchen chairs were unstable due to missing screws and the couch had noticeable stains with a smell.

THE SOFA IN THE LOUNGE WAS NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL. THE BED ASWELL WAS UNCOMFORTABLE.

Beautiful and very clean apartment. Smells divine. Newly built. Equipped with everything you require. An employee from the host met us upon arrival to hand over keys for the apartment.

WiFi did not work throughout our stay despite the host logging a call with the service provider. The apartment is not 60sqm as stated on the bookings.com info, probably around 40sqm. Request for deposit was stated to be R800 but R1200 was reserved. Windows are dirty and definitely needs a clean.

We were moved to a more suitable unit that was at least up to par. Owners if you use white linen in your apartment, expect it to get dirty, unintentionally. Don't force people to pay full breakage fee for stains that couldn't be removed. This was a learning experience for me to use my own bedding when booking an apartment at certain places.

It's a newly built apartment and was not ready to accommodate guest, but were nevertheless made available on booking.com. We arrived at Bella Mare, waited at least +-45minutes after a long drive for an employee from company "The Host" to accommodate us. Finally arrived at the apartment and it was not up to standard especially for the cost/night. We were however put into a " more expensive" unit after complaining and begging for 1 hour with the company managing these apartments. I've booked at Bella Mare 4 times this year and the last experience is something to remember, but also to forget about. Booking at Bella Mare will be better to look for a unit that is managed independently by the owner.
