The home was absolutely beautiful. The scenery and ambience was so serene and completely ingulfing. Ms. Yolonda was so sweet. She's the salt of tge esrth. She's GENUINELY a "God fearing" woman, who loves the Lord. I stayed there, because I'd lost my sister the week before and the Serenity House was very close to her funereal. Ms. Yolonda is "good people"!!! I just love her. The house is adjacent to the main house. It's very cozy and comfortable. Then there's a quaint, little gazebo with a wicker patio set. You can sit back n relax and enjoy the scenery. There's a pond and birds and you might see a gator ot two, resting on the banks of the pond. It's an absolutely beautiful spot for absolutely any occasion. I highly recommend this spot to any GROWN FOLK reading this. Young people, if you do rent this spot, PLEASE be respectful of Ms. Yolanda and her house. Don't go there making all kinds of noise and mishaps. My granddaughter met Ms. Yolonda's granddaughter and they hit it off. Now, my granddaughter keeps asking me when can she have a play date with her "new best friend". With the situation aside,( me losing my sister), it was a very nice and beautiful place. I absolutely lobed it. If ever you're in need of a quiet spot, Serenity House, in Laplace is it. 😍

Absolutely NOTHING! I loved EVERYTHING! 😍

Yolanda is so kind and patient, especially with my frazzled self, exhausted from a long drive. What she didn’t know is that I am only 3 months out from losing my partner and therefore traveled alone from Texas to watch my oldest compete. It was a lonely trip so it helps to have kindness and a well put-together and clean space to decompress. I would book again if I’m ever out this way.
